Easy Chinese Chicken with Broccoli

I have been craving a lot of Asian food lately.  Here is a very simple recipe that I threw together for dinner the other night.  It turned out great and was sooo incredibly simple!  My husband even said "it was a keeper." So... without further ado..

Easy Chinese Chicken with Broccoli Recipe:

Ingredients:
- 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1 in. strips
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/3 cup gluten free Tamari Sauce
- 4 Tbsps. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups of frozen broccoli florrets, cooked and drained.
- salt  & pepper to taste (optional)

Directions:
1. In a large saute pan, saute garlic with the oil until tender (be careful not to put heat too high as garlic will burn quickly).

2.Lower heat to low-med heat and stir in brown sugar.

3. Add 1/3 cup of gluten free Tamari Sauce

4. Place chicken breast strips in the saute pan and cover.  Watch the heat carefully (reduce if neccesary) so that the chicken breasts strips do not burn.

5. Once chicken looks cooked through, add cooked and drained broccoli florrets.

6. Stir until sauce covers chicken and broccoli florrets.

7. Season with salt and pepper to taste (optional)
